We are now in our new offices just off Bermondsey Street in London. Our new phone number is 020 72602600. Full address is Unit G, 11 Bell Yard Mews, 175 Bermondsey Street, London SE1 3TN. Come and pay us a visit!!!
We had a great day in the radio studio yesterday talking Pride of Britain with the Daily Mirror's Peter Willis.
Peter was encouraging people to nominate someone extraordinary in their community for the awards which recognise unsung heroes.
If you know someone a dedicated charity fundraiser, a truly courageous child or adult, or someone who's made a real difference to the local community, you've still got just over 24 hours to nominate them. Find out more at www.prideofbritain.com.
Now we're looking forward to the big night itself at the end of October!
After months of rehearsals, our very own Ed Naish is gearing up for his moment in the spotlight when he takes part in the Olympic opening ceremony.
Although Danny Boyle's spectacular involves a cast of thousands, he shouldn't be too hard to spot as he's one of the first people on and will be wearing some rather distinctive sporting attire! (refer to last week's Sun for a sneak preview!)
We wish him all the very best!
This week we're very pleased to welcome Leon Gunning, our new Digital Project Manager. He joins us from BlackBerry and will be overseeing Digital Delivery on all our Digital Marketing. The office is now full to capacity, but getting excited about our forthcoming office move! Watch this space...
This week we're very pleased to welcome Louise King, our new production manager to the team. She joins us from Kew & Nylon Films, and will be overseeing production on all our video work. The office is now just about full to capacity, but getting excited about our forthcoming office move! Watch this space...
Okay, so Usain Bolt isn't running our production department, despite his impressive turn in the Virgin Media ads, but we do have a representative at the greatest show on earth. The person in question is, in fact, our account Manager Ed Naish, who has been selected to be part of the opening ceremony. We're all very proud of him, and can't wait to see what costume he has to wear!
The offices are a buzz with talk of Frozen Planet and Life on Earth this week as we're off for a very special Evening with Sir David Attenborough tomorrow night.
We've been invited along to this exclusive event as part of our commitment to World Land Trust, a charity that uses land purchase to help protect critically endangered habitats and their wildlife in perpetuity.
Sir David is a patron of World Land Trust and will be speaking with Simon Barnes, Chief Sports Writer and wildlife columnist at The Times, and a representative from PricewaterhouseCooper on the subject of biodiversity and business.
We're delighted to be kicking off the new year with two new members of the team. Ed Naish and Amy Nicholson are joining us in account management and we're very much looking forward to having them on board.
The Media Bounty team is growing... not just as a result of the chocolate biscuits in the office! We're on the lookout for a new account manager with previous agency or in-house marketing experience, and an account executive to work across the business. If you're interested in joining our team email your CV and a covering letter to email@example.com No telephone calls or agencies please.
The wine flowed and the glasses clinked together a few times last night as the whole staff celebrated something special coming soon.....and it's REALLY exciting.
Another great landmark for Media Bounty as we recently passed 350,000 views for our YouTube channel. Not bad considering it was launched less than 2 years ago.
We're extremely pleased how our production department is going and now that it's in-house we're expecting the big 500,000 to come around in no time at all.
We’re pleased to announce that we’re bringing all our video production in-house. Our new film division will be headed up by Mark Allen, a multi-award winning former BBC Entertainment director and producer.
Mark was instrumental in the production of our interactive video for Colgate Oral Health Month, which has been shortlisted in the FMCG category at this year’s Marketing Week Engage Awards. He joins us from Mark Three Media.
High spirits in the office today as we've just found out we've been shortlisted for the Marketing Week Engage Awards for our work with Colgate on Oral Health Month!

We love making films and today we're on it. Hush hush for now but all will be revealed soon...
A full on day of interviews was set up by Media Bounty for client, Kwai Plus - Omega 3. The Heart supplement containing allicin and omega 3 got great editorial coverage thanks to the skills of DayBreak's Dr Hilary Jones.....and an excellent cue sheet.
The Media Bounty team got up close and personal with the nation's favourite entrepreneur earlier this week.
An inspiring character who's been putting together his Virgin empire ever since Virgin Records appeared in 1972!
It's all go at Media Bounty at the moment as 2011 continues to be busy and fruitful. The Media Planning team are doing a great job on the latest sampling campaign for Ceuta Healthcare.
We're very excited to be kicking off the second of the Panasonic Man Guide to Intelligent Living series. The first part of the campaign was such a resounding success that Panasonic have asked us to place the 'Dressing' video which we produced for them last year. It's also great to see Tim Shaw on our screens again.
With the new year comes new arrivals here at Media Bounty. Two to be exact, in the form of Tom and John.
It's been a great start to the year and it can only get better with these two talented individuals on board.
Big big welcome to you both from all the team!
Our hard work pays off when we work on campaigns. Clients that try us out tend to be happy with the outcome and work with us again and again.
It's always nice to expand the portfolio though and we're all excited and enthused at the prospect of working on an upcoming campaign with new client, Debenhams.
The most depressing day of the year is out of the way. The days are slowly getting longer and the nights shorter - we're heading in the right direction.
And after a storming 2010 everyone here at Media Bounty is enjoying getting well and truly 'stuck in' to 2011.
Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year. This year we decided to make a donation to Shelter instead of posting Christmas cards, not only does this save some trees but it also allows us to share some festive goodwill with the people that really need it.
See you all in 2011
Best of luck to everyone nominated at the Radio Academy’s excellent Promotions and Marketing Awards.
Stations shortlisted include Absolute Radio, BBC Radio 2, BRMB, Capital FM, Hallam FM, Moray Firth Radio, Real Radio North West, and Trent FM.
We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at The Venue for the ceremony next week. We must admit we have a vested interest this year, since one of our directors was a judge!
Media Bounty is proud to once again be supporting the Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards.
As well as arranging radio interviews with awards founder and associate editor of the Daily Mirror, Peter Willis, and ceremony host, Carol Vorderman, we’ll also be lending our support to the PR team on the night.
The Pride of Britain Awards celebrate the country’s true unsung heroes, and was Britain’s most popular award show last year - with more viewers than even the Brits or the Baftas. Those taking part this year include Prince Charles, the Prime Minister and Simon Cowell.

Here at Media Bounty we're celebrating after securing our 100th acre of critically threatened habitat in partnership with environmental charity the World Land Trust.
Since we launched in 2008 we have been funding the purchase of one or more acres of critically threatened rainforest habitat through the charity for every campaign undertaken. However, it was especially fitting that the 100th acre was purchased in the name of Kenco, considering the coffee brand's Rainforest Alliance status and its commitment to reduce energy consumption and waste through their Eco Refill packs.
World Land Trust, whose patrons include Sir David Attenborough, helps purchase and save land in partnership with local NGOs to protect habitats and their wildlife in perpetuity. WLT is currently supporting urgent land purchase and protection, working with in-country partners, in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Ecuador, India, Kenya, Mexico and Borneo.
Notice anything different? The new Media Bounty website has landed!
Today we launch our long-awaited new site, which includes a showreel of our latest video projects. We’ve tried to keep things simple, so we hope you’ll find what you’re looking for. But if not, please give us a call on +44 (0) 207 388 8551. Thanks to our friends at Perfect Day for all their help.
"We’ve worked with Media Bounty on a number of projects over the last couple of years and have been delighted with the results they’ve achieved for us. On top of this they give first class customer service. They provide good advice, are always available when we need them, and show a great attention to detail. I’m sure we will continue to use Media Bounty on many campaigns in the future."
