Advertising has a trust problem. Widespread greenwashing, coupled with lack of transparency and conflicts of interest in media supply chains, has taken its toll. According to the latest All In Census from the Advertising Association, just 40% of people working in advertising feel it’s a trustworthy industry – while only 44% believe it has a positive impact on society.

In 2024 we showed how this could be done with powerful work to support an energy transition for Warm This Winter, and encouraging positive climate action with Potential Energy and Parents for Future. And we’re leading work within the industry to improve transparency and restore trust through CAN and our ACT Climate Labs project.
