Weâre thrilled to announce that Media Bounty has once again won gold at the Ad Net Zero Awards! Weâve been awarded Agency Best Practice, for the second year on the trot. Â
What are the Ad Net Zero Awards?
Ad Net Zero is an organisation leading the advertising industryâs net-zero transition.
Their annual awards programme celebrates âthe trailblazing businesses, organisations, and projects in the advertising industry, who are helping to reduce emissions and pave the way to a net zero economy.â
In 2024, there were 146 entries, with 61 shortlisted across 33 categories from organisations across the whole industry, including advertisers, agencies, media owners and tech companies.
A little about us
Media Bounty was founded in 2008 with a vision of doing things differently. And weâve stuck to it. Working hard to become, not just a business we could believe in, but one that uses the power of advertising for good. Driving growth for our roster of like-minded clients, doing our team proud and pushing for change in the industry at large.
From our very beginning, weâve turned down working with the big polluters â from fossil fuels to fashion, as well as biocides and tourism for a country violating human rights. Building a client roster weâre proud to shout about, from fellow B Corps like Sipsmith and Jamie Oliver to NGOs shaping attitudes on climate and mental health.
And for all the work we do, we make a donation to the World Land Trust, to empower local partners to save land to save species and improve climate resilience.
We measure and reduce our emissions â scope 1-3 â and offset the unavoidable. All through high-quality World Land Trust projects that also protect biodiversity and support communities. Weâre legally committed to reporting our targets and progress through our B Corp Impact Report.
But we understand the climate crisis is about much more than measuring and reducing Scopes 1â3. Weâre in an industry with a complicated legacy. But weâre dedicated to making sure its future is bright.
Itâs why we founded, incubated and have sourced funding for both the ACT Climate Labs project and the Conscious Advertising Network. Both amplify our impact beyond our day-toâday work, pushing the industry to do better as a whole, and directly tackling climate misâ and disinformation.
In the last year, our ACT Climate Labs project has continued to upskill the climate sector, helping them supercharge the impact of their comms. And theyâve conducted further research into âThe Persuadablesâ – the 69% of the UK population who believe climate change is happening, but are yet to prioritise it in their day-to-day.
This year has seen CAN collaborate and advise the UN at COP and on Information Integrity; and we were invited by the Brazilian government to speak on climate mis- and disinformation as the country prepares to host the next COP.
Weâre grateful to the team that keep us on track, the partners who share our vision, and to the industry judges who gave us the gold. Hereâs to another year of building a better business, and a better industry.
