Media Bounty’s 2020 Rewind
Our predictions for 2020 included Account Managers bumping into clients at Glastonbury, watching the Euros in the office and Olympics-based sausage roll antics by Greggs.
Thankfully, we don’t sell fortune telling to clients.
But, contrary to what my dad thinks, we did actually do some actual work from home over the last 12 months, on clients old and new. Here are some of our best bits from the best year ever.
Terry’s Chocolate Orange
It was a year that truly needed chocolate – and we started working with one of the most iconic. We launched Terry’s Chocolate Orange on social, and reintroduced their White Ball to supersonic levels of hype. Delicious.
CRACKD’S The No-Egg Egg
The egg that’s made, not laid. We’re working with CRACKD to launch The No-Egg Egg, the UK’s first liquid vegan egg replacement. We’ll be leading on content and media strategy, creative development, channel planning and website. They’ve already got over 4,500 followers at time of typing, and hundreds of home cooks have tagged them in pictures. Find it in M&S, and watch this space for more…
In spring we added skincare pioneers RoC to our roster, relaunching the brand and becoming their lead agency across Europe. We’re handling creative, strategy and paid media, and our faces have never been smoother.
Quadrature Climate Foundation
For QCF we released a 100-page report on how to take the fight to climate deniers online. It tackles fake news, conspiracy theorists and science deniers in one, rather beautiful, document.
If you want to get your hands on it, send an email with your name, company and job title to email@example.com with the subject line “Change the Narrative Report” and we’ll pop it in your inbox.
Supporting the #wombstories TV ad that you’ve obviously already seen, with hard-hitting, heart-warming, unfiltered social content. Smashing targets and taboos in the process.
World Land Trust
And of course, we continued to support our charity partner, World Land Trust. We donated on behalf of every client we worked with, helping land protection projects in Colombia, Cameroon, Ecuador and Argentina. We donated our minds as well as our money, with training, creative concepting for future campaigns and ongoing pro-bono consultancy.
By the way, we did predict Donald Trump would ditch Twitter. So if you squint hard enough, we weren’t that wrong about everything. We also said he’d move to TikTok, so perhaps we were.
